WELLVOW App Data and Account Deletion Requests

This page explains how to ask 深圳市汉煻科技有限公司, the operator of the WELLVOW app, to delete app-related information or a separate WELLVOW website account. The app’s core lighting controls do not require creating an app account, but community submissions, feedback, optional diagnostics, and optional HUB submissions can still create cloud records.

Send a deletion request

Email support@wellvow.com with the subject WELLVOW data deletion request. You do not need to create a new account to make a request. If the email link does not open, copy the address into your email app.

  1. Tell us what you want deleted: a community post or shared effect, feedback and related diagnostics, a HUB technical submission, a website account, or another specific record.
  2. Include enough non-secret information to help us find it, using the examples below. State whether you want one item removed or all records we can reliably associate with you in the named category.
  3. Tell us the email address at which you would like a reply. If the request concerns an existing support conversation or website account, contact us from the associated email address where possible.

Do not send an app or website password, Wi-Fi password, device secret key, recovery code, or identity document. We may ask for limited additional information to locate data and verify a request, but a community identifier or submission reference alone is not treated as proof of ownership.

Information that helps us locate a record

  • Community posts and shared effects: provide a post link if available, or the title, author label, approximate date, and a short excerpt. Include your app’s community identifier if available in the app’s privacy controls. This is different from a website username.
  • Feedback and diagnostics: provide a feedback or support reference if you have one; otherwise give the approximate submission date, app version, message topic, and whether you enabled a one-time diagnostic. If you contacted us by email, replying to that conversation can help.
  • HUB technical submissions: provide the submission reference returned after a successful upload. If it is unavailable or the submission is older, provide the brand, product model, and approximate submission date. Tell us if your request also concerns a retained protocol-library entry.
  • Other app-related information: describe the relevant feature or operation and its approximate date. Support will explain what additional non-secret reference is needed; do not email device keys or passwords.
  • WELLVOW website account: explicitly say that you are requesting deletion of the website account, and provide its username or registered email address. The website account is separate from core app lighting control. We will explain the applicable website process and any records that need to be retained.

What happens after a request

Support reviews the request, locates the relevant records, and performs any necessary verification. We then handle deletion or explain the outcome, any further information needed, and any applicable limitation. If a request cannot be fulfilled in full, we explain which information remains and why. We handle requests in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on the request and available records, deletion can cover the relevant app community content, shared-effect submission, feedback and its associated diagnostic information, or HUB submission. A website account request follows the separate website process. Removing our copy does not erase screenshots, downloads, or other copies that another user or an external service already holds.

Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations, address abuse or security issues, resolve a dispute, or document the handling of a request. Service-provider logs and backup copies can have separate retention cycles and may not disappear immediately when an active record is deleted.

HUB submissions and retained technical features

HUB business submission records are retained for 90 days and are scheduled for deletion after expiry. Reviewed technical features can continue to be retained in the protocol-recognition library without the original submission reference or an attached account or device identity. The 90-day submission rule does not establish a common deletion deadline for all provider logs and backups.

You can request removal of a submission before it expires. If the original submission has expired, include the brand and product model to help us locate any retained technical entry. We will review the scope of the request and explain the action taken. Choosing not to submit another snapshot stops future optional submissions; it does not by itself remove an earlier one.

Local phone data and controller settings

Use the relevant app controls or your phone’s app-storage controls to remove local data. An app option that clears a local effects list only clears the scope described by that option. It is not a server-account deletion command.

Removing a device from WELLVOW, clearing app storage, or uninstalling the app does not automatically delete cloud submissions or a website account. It also does not necessarily erase settings stored on the controller. Follow the controller’s instructions if you intend to reset the hardware, and consider your phone’s backup settings separately. Save submission references before clearing the app if you may need them for a cloud deletion request.
