- Check whether the connector matches your original controller
Compare the connector on your existing eaves lights with the connector of the WLED controller you plan to buy.
They must be the same type in order to plug in directly. - Confirm the polarity after receiving the controller
When connecting the controller to your light strip, ensure the positive (+) and negative (–) wires are aligned correctly.
If you plug in the light strip and the WLED controller indicator light turns off, this usually means the polarity is reversed.
You can fix this using the DIY rewiring kit included in your package.
